| The user-friendly touch screen panel was designed to control a basic Gala pelletizing system with a variety of options including: Water box by-pass piping Water heater Water cooling valve Polymer diverter valve Blower Polymer pressure indication Melt temperature indication Adaptor heat zone The programming of the touch screen panel includes many equipment options in the typical programming. This allows future option retrofits to be as easy as possible. The touch screen panel is available with a color Kessler Ellis operator interface, and uses an Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1500 PLC. There are options that allow certain portions of machine control to be password protected to prevent unauthorized modification of process set points. The use of a standardized program, panel layout, components, and documentation permit short delivery times and a cost efficient solution for the basic Gala pelletizing system. |
