Crystallization/Cooling Systems |

The Crystallization/Cooling System is designed for materials that require a longer residence time in the process water for either crystallization or cooling purposes. The system uses a three-tank configuration that allows continuous runs rather than batch cooling. The Gala crystallization/cooling system replaces long piping systems and the related disadvantages such as a larger pump, larger main water tank, and more difficult temperature control of the process water. Thanks to its compact design, this system not only requires significantly less space than comparable piping systems (including large tanks) but gives the operator more control of the residence time and process water temperature. The residence time can be set freely between several seconds and a full hour. The Gala crystallization/cooling system also permits operation with two independent process water circuits with different temperatures and throughputs.
